Commenting on SPA board papers which reveal that Police Scotland's total spending in relation to Brexit is expected to reach £21.2 million this financial year, Scottish Liberal Democrat justice spokesperson Liam McArthur MSP said:

"The size of the Brexit policing bill is breathtaking. Brexit will also make us less safe by removing our access to critical crimefighting resources, such as the the European Arrest Warrant.

"Scottish Liberal Democrats are the home of remain. We need to stop Brexit and build a brighter future."
