Perth and Kinross Liberal Democrats are delighted to announce that Liz Barrett has been chosen by local party members to be our candidate in an upcoming Council by-election.

Liz lives in Perth and is married to our Council Group Leader, Cllr Peter Barrett. She will be campaigning hard for every vote.

The by-election, to elect a Councillor onto Perth and Kinross Council for the Perth City South ward, will be held on Thursday 23 November 2017.

This ward is already excellently represented by Cllr Willie Wilson and now we have a golden opportunity to have Liz as another Scottish Liberal Democrats Councillor working alongside Willie in the ward and as a valuable addition to our group on the Council. However we need all the help we can get to ensure this becomes a reality. For details of what we are doing to win and how to get involved, please visit the Campaign Facebook Page.

If you live in the ward and want a second hard-working LibDem Councillor to support Willie in working for you, then please lend Liz your vote.

Make sure you are registered to vote by Tuesday 7 November.
